Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College (LVTC) is listed in the first batch of vocational colleges approved by the Ministry of Education of China.  According to the third party, LVTC ranks top 3% in comprehensive strength, scientific research competitiveness and influence among more than 1,420 vocational colleges in China, taking a leading position. LVTC is National exemplary vocational college (100 in total)，National high quality vocational college (200 in total)，Enlisted in“National Top-Notch Vocational Institutions and Programs Plan”(High-level vocational colleges and High-level majors )，National top 50 vocational college in teaching management ，National top 50 vocational college in student management，National top 50 vocational college in teaching resources，National top 50 exemplary vocational college in innovation and entrepreneurship.

LVTC has a highly competitive faculty, being at the forefront in vocational colleges in Guangxi. 

There are altogether 142 training bases inside and outside LVTC, among which there are 13 national key training bases, 5 Provincial Accredited exemplary characteristic majors and training bases, 14 Provincial Accredited exemplary vocational education training bases, 2 municipal training bases with an Investment of RMB10 million. LVTC is a vocational college with the most advanced training conditions and the most complete training functions in Guangxi.

Quartet cooperating with the government, industries, enterprises, LVTC established a collaborative innovation sharing platform and set up the first collaborative innovation research institute of vocational colleges in Guangxi to promote the service level for the society. According to the ranking list of scientific research & service funds of vocational colleges in 2018, LVTC ranked the 8th in China.

Since 2001, LVTC has carried out various forms of exchanges and cooperation with 18 countries and regions in the field of joint education, academic visit, advanced study, mutual exchange or joint training of faculty and students, authentication of professional skills, and jointly construction of training bases etc.

Based on the idea of “introducing standards－internalizing standards－implementing standards－exporting standards”, LVTC takes the lead in introducing advanced international standards of professional ability from countries such as Germany and Britain and integrating into the whole process of training international craftsmen in an innovative manner.
