The School of Electronic Information Engineering is in the main campus of LVTC (Shewan Road Campus) alongside the beautiful Yufeng Trading Area, with very convenient learning and living conditions. The School has the key developing major clusters of LVTC national model schools and Guangxi model schools. At present, there are more than 3,400 full-time students in the School.

The School of Electronic Information Engineering has 12 majors, including Software Technology, Communication Technology, IOT Application Technology, AI Technology Service, Software and Information Service (UI design, software outsourcing service), Big Data Technology and Application, VR Application Technology, Cloud Computing Technology and Application, Computer Network Technology, Smart Product Development, Computer Application Technology, and Electronic Information Engineering Technology. All the professional fields belong to the electronic information industry, which is an industry to be mainly developed in the 13th Five-year Plan of China and Guangxi, and is a high-tech industry.

The School of Electronic Information Engineering has a faculty with high education background, high professional title, and rich experience in teaching, scientific research and practice. The software technology team has won the title of "Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Level Outstanding Teaching Team". Now, it has 87 in-service staff, and dozens of part-time teachers from ZTE, B&J Group Hopu, HSAE and other enterprises, forming a strong faculty. The School has a good teaching and research environment, with advanced teaching and experimental equipment. Inside the School, the “LVTC-ZTE ICT Industry Innovation Base” and “Communication Technology Demonstration Characteristic Training Base” invested by the central government and ZTE with investment amount of RMB 15 million, and the demonstration training bases of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, “Electronic Information and Communication Technology Training Base” and “Computer Application and Software Technology Training Base”, have been built. Now, the School owns teaching and training bases covering an area of 6000㎡. Outside the School, there is an “Automobile Electronics Productive Training Base" covering an area of 3000㎡. It is built with the financial support of Liuzhou Municipal Bureau of Finance. The School has also established off-campus practice and training bases jointly with more than 30 domestic enterprises such as Huawei, ZTE, Baidu and Shenzhen Dianyingpu Technology Co., Ltd.

The School of Electronic Information Engineering undertakes a lot of social services. It is the secretariat of Guangxi Electronic Information Industry Steering Committee, and the council member of Guangxi Vocational College Teaching Steering Committee and Guangxi Information Security Association. Liuzhou Cloud Computing Service Engineering Technology Research Center and LVTC Institute of Electronics and Information Technology are also located inside the School.

Adhering to the student-oriented innovative talent developing concept, the School of Electronic Information Engineering has been constantly developing professional talents for the electronic information industry with rich professional knowledge, high comprehensive quality, strong innovation ability, good professional quality, broad international vision and strong social competitiveness. Integrated with professional and practical advantages, the Doctor's Studio led by Dr. Deng kuibiao of the School of Electronic Information Engineering has established an enterprise information system development team through providing free compulsory training and project practice to freshmen majoring in electronic information, so as to provide the information construction services for large and medium sized enterprises in Liuzhou.

Students of the School have made outstanding achievements in the national and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region level skills competitions for many times. In recent years, students majoring in Communication Technology have won the first prize of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Level "4G Network Construction Technology” Skills Competition, the third prize of national skills competition, and the second prize of Students' Professional Skills Competition among Liuzhou Vocational Colleges; students majoring in Software Technology and Applied Technology of Virtual Reality have won the third prize of "Virtual Reality (VR) Design and Production" in the National Vocational College Students’  Skills Competition, and the recognition prize of "China Software Cup" Undergraduate Software Design Competition; students majoring in Cloud Computing Technology and Application and Computer Network Technology have won the second prize of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Level "Cloud Computing Technology and Application" Skills Competition and the third prize in national skills competition; students majoring in Computer Network Technology have won the first prize of Guangxi Computer Application Technology Competition, the second prize of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Level "Computer Network Application" Skills Competition, and the third prize of Students' Professional Skills Competition among Liuzhou Vocational Colleges; students majoring in Intelligent Product Development and Electronic Information Engineering Technology have won dozens of first, second and third prizes of College Students' Electronic Design Competition in Guangxi; students majoring in Computer Application Technology, Applied Electronic Technology and Electronic Information Engineering Technology have won the second prize of "Embedded Application Development" of Students' Professional Skills Competition among Liuzhou Vocational Colleges, the first prize of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Level Skills Competition and the third prize of National Level Skills Competition; the employment rate of graduates in 2018 and 2019 reached 96.5%.
