(Text by Zuo Yingzi, Office of International Exchange; Photo by Wu Zhaohui, Liuzhou Daily, Liuzhou No.2 Vocational School) On December 14, during the lingering late autumn and the transition from warmth to coldness in early winter, 12 international students from Liuzhou Vocational & Technical College (LVTC) were invited to visit the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum at Liuzhou No.2 Vocational School. They appreciated various national cultural heritage and experienced a unique "class" of intangible cultural heritage.

At the "class site", international students enjoyed the beauty of ethnic costumes, savored the fragrance of tea, explored the mystery of batik, experienced exquisite carvings, marveled at lifelike clay sculptures, and appreciated vivid paper-cutting. Zhao Yunlong, an international student from Pakistan, said: "I've never seen so many traditional Chinese objects before. I'm amazed by them." Ma He, an international student from Indonesia, said excitedly to the teacher when seeing the batik exhibits: "We also learned batik at school. I have a batik scarf." In the free activity session, the international students sang folk songs with primary school students who participated in the activity. This "intangible cultural heritage class" came to an end amidst a song called Folk Songs Are like Spring Waters. The students all expressed their enjoyment of knowing and experiencing Chinese traditional culture in different ways.

It is reported that the intangible cultural heritage exhibition activity is an intangible cultural heritage education exhibition of the Biennale 2023 held by Liuzhou No.2 Vocational School. LVTC focuses on cultivating international students who know China well, befriend China, and love China. It constantly enables students to experience the charm of Chinese culture and know more about China through intangible cultural heritage based on exchanges and sharing.
