Accommodation Guidelines

1.Students are not permitted to swap or change rooms, transfer beds and host any overnight guests without approval.

2.The dormitory’s late return registration is from 11:30 PM to 6:00 AM, during which students returning late for special reasons should ask for leave from the counselor in advance and register for late return before entering the dormitory.

3.When leaving the room, students should lock the doors and windows, and keep the valuables in a safe place.

4.The apartment keys should not be lent to others. Students should not change locks, duplicate keys or add door locks without authorization.

5.Students are responsible for keeping the rooms,corridors and other public area clean. Clean the room by yourself, and put the household garbage into the designated trash can at the door of the apartment building.

6.Students should keep the apartments building quiet. Noises are prohibited.

7.Students should not engage in any illegal and criminal activities, or hold activities that may affect the public order or the physical and mental health of others, such as gambling and alcohol abuse.

8.No publicity materials or leaflets can be posted or distributed in the apartments without the approval of Property Management Company.

9.Commercial activities, using apartment facilities for commercial purposes, or usage of facilities significantly exceeding the individual’s consumption are not allowed in the apartments.

10.No pets are allowed in the apartments.

11.Water and electricity consumption in dormitories shall be measured. A student is allowed to use 5 tons of water and 5kWh of electricity per month. Excess charges shall be borne by students.

12.To prevent and eradicate fire accidents and to protect the personal and property safety in the building, fire safety management is carried out in the apartments in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Activities violating fire safety include but are not limited to:

Smoking in non-smoking areas;

Intentional damage and unauthorized removal of fire equipment;

Storing or using flammable, explosive, highly corrosive materials;

Starting open fire in areas other than kitchens;

Using prohibited electrical appliances in the apartments, and installing electric wires, damaging or changing power lines, or using public electricity without permission.

Except electrical appliances installed by school, the following electrical appliances are prohibited in the student apartments:

(1)Electric heating equipment and electrical appliances without automatic power-off protection devices, including but not limited to: immersion heater, electric furnace, electric blanket, electric heater, electric cooker, microwave oven, induction cooker, electric iron;

(2)Electric appliances without national 3C certification (China Compulsory Certification, CCC);

2. The following acts of installing electric wires without permission are not allowed:

(1)Installing electric wires from places (including public places) other than the socket outlet to the room;

(2)Installing electric wires from the socket outlet to places outside the room.
